Please join the ASME Baltimore Section for a discussion of global supply chains, the U.S. outsourcing of goods and services, whether it is feasible to bring home the supply of some resources and the production of many goods that are now brought in from overseas, and some of the key issues surrounding global supply chains. Speaker Mr. Steve Carmel is a Senior Vice President at Maersk Line, Limited (MLL). Previously, he held various positions in operations and finance for U.S. Marine Management, Inc. and MLL. Among other activities, he is a current member of the Naval Studies Board, and past member of the Chief of Naval Operations Executive Panel and Marine Board.
