Achieving net zero emissions by the middle of this century is the global action goal to combat climate change. Carbon dioxide capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS) technology is one of the key technologies to achieve large-scale carbon emission reduction in the future, and will play a key role in long-term emission reduction and deep decarburization. The International Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage Conference 2023 (ICCUSC2023) is dedicated to promote international cooperation on CCUS new technologies development, large-scale application, knowledge sharing and experience exchange. The conference will focus on the main issues and challenges on development of CCUS technology, discuss cutting-edge technologies in CO2 utilization, storage, monitoring, and safety, strengthen CCUS technology innovation, and propose the direction for CCUS technology development under the carbon neutrality goal. The topics also include digital and intelligent development of CCUS, CCUS technical, economic, environmental and social assessment, as well as development and training of talents in the field of carbon peak and carbon neutrality.
