Local Matters
Check here first! Ensure your training comes from an official ASME ATP.
ASME Learning and Development recognizes that although there is a global demand for engineering training, each region has its own unique training needs. But you and your team shouldn’t have to travel to get trustworthy training backed by ASME. So whether you need training offered in a specific language or currency, or want stronger alignment with the local regulatory landscape, employment market, or culture, our ATPs offer training to your region, from your region.

ASME has established a training program to expand its training activities to meet the professional development needs of engineers and other technical professionals worldwide. Under this program, ASME authorizes local organizations to become Authorized Training Providers (ATPs) to deliver courses to local communities of engineers and other technical professionals based on market needs. An ATP can choose to offer current ASME courses and/or ones they have developed and subsequently have been reviewed and approved by ASME.
What are the benefits of becoming an ASME Authorized Training Provider?
The backing of our globally recognized ASME brand can allow your organization to stand out from the competition. The courses you deliver under this program will be official ASME courses that allow you to provide your learners ASME-branded certificates of completion, along with the associated Professional Development Hours (PDHs) awarded upon completion of each course. The ASME website will also feature your organization and provide enhanced visibility to your business with clickable links back to your real time catalog of courses and/or schedule.
How do I apply to become an Authorized Training Provider (ATP)?
We are currently not accepting new applications for ATPs. Please check back in the future, as this may change.
Please note: we review ATP applications on a quarterly basis. Application does not guarantee any organization will be approved. Commonly, applications take 6-8 weeks from submission to final decision. After a final decision is reached, a contract must be mutually executed before a training provider is an official ASME ATP. We reserve the right to approve/deny any application based on our sole judgment.
