Unlock your problem-solving skills with ASME’s Innovative Problem Solving for Engineers Learning Path.
This learning path includes courses covering two useful problem-solving approaches – Theory of Inventive Problem Solving (TRIZ) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) - designed to equip you with tools to identify and resolve problems. The courses will guide you through concepts, scenarios, and tools used for each of these methods.
You will have access to two self-study courses, designed to be taken at your own pace and on your own schedule.
By participating in this learning path, you will learn how to successfully:
- Explain the concepts of TRIZ and RCA
- Ask the right questions; establishing triggers that drive you to the RCA process
- Deploy tools for root cause identification and elimination
- Explain the basic TRIZ problem-solving algorithm and its basic tools
- Describe TRIZ Lines of Evolution and how to use them for strategic planning, new product development, and forecasting
