Call for ICE Technical Community Track Co-Chair
Apply by April 24, 2026Track 6: Modeling and Sumulation
The track 6 Modeling and Simulation Co-Chair plays a key leadership role in advancing the technical direction and activities of the ICE Technical Community’s modeling and simulation track. Working closely with the Track Chair, the Co-Chair helps coordinate committee operations, supports the development of high-quality technical content, and ensures the successful planning and execution of conference sessions and peer review activities.
Track 6 focuses on the advancement of numerical modeling and simulation of internal combustion engines, spanning areas such as two-phase and reacting flows, turbulence and spray modeling, chemical kinetics, machine learning applications, and system-level engine modeling. This three-year leadership role offers a unique opportunity to shape the technical program, engage with experts across the community, and contribute to the future direction of engine modeling and simulation.
Distinguished Associates of the ICE Technical Community who are interested in learning more about this role or being considered for the Track 6 Co-Chair position are encouraged to apply by April 17. Learn more about the position.

The 2026 Forumula Hybrid + Electric (FHE) Competition is seeking experienced engineering and industry professionals to serve as judges and technical volunteers at the 2026 Formula Hybrid + Electric (FHE) Competition, taking place the week of April 26, 2026, at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway. As a Platinum‑Level Sponsor, ASME supports this international competition where university teams design, build, and race advanced hybrid and electric vehicles. Judges and inspectors play a critical role in ensuring technical rigor while mentoring the next generation of engineers.
