Information for Authors
With 35 hybrid journals and one fully open access journal, ASME has been a trusted leader in engineering publishing for more than 140 years. Our journals publish high-quality, rigorously peer-reviewed research that advances engineering knowledge and practice.

Publishing with ASME

ASME journals are owned and stewarded by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, with editorial direction, journal scope, peer review, and publication decisions led by ASME’s volunteer editorial leadership.

Wiley is ASME’s publishing partner, providing the technology, production, distribution, and marketing support that helps bring ASME research to a global audience. ASME journals use Wiley’s Research Exchange (ReX) platform for manuscript submission and peer review and are hosted on the Wiley Online Library.

For more information about the partnership, read the ASME press-release here.

Submitting Your Manuscript

Manuscript submissions for ASME journals are managed through Wiley’s Research Exchange platform. Visit the individual journal page and select “Submit a Manuscript” to access the submission system and review the journal’s author guidelines.
